Model Overview¶
Exporting as a Model completely changes the logic of the exporter. When the Export as is set to this mode, instead of baking an entire timeline, the addon captures a single static frame of your scene.
This mode is highly useful for creating custom furniture, static decorations, or complex structures out of block displays. As expected, entities in Model projects have limited use cases. They are primarily useful for placing entities with physical colliders (such as shulker boxes, boats, and happy ghasts) or for positioning entities to be used with leashes.
When this mode is selected, only one specific area becomes available:
- Model Options: Contains the settings needed to choose the exact frame to export and adjust the precision of the exported numbers.
Alternative Workflow
If your goal is to create moving scenes utilizing Blender's animation tools, the Animation export type is the ideal choice for your project.
