Animation Overview

Exporting as an Animation is the primary workflow in MC Animaker. When the Export as is set to this mode, the addon reads your Blender timeline and bakes the animations and properties of your objects into a sequence of commands for Minecraft.

The addon uses the current frame range of your Blender timeline to determine the exact start and end of the exported animation sequence.

When this mode is selected, three configuration areas become available in the Export Tab:

  • Export Options: Allows you to filter which object types are included in the final file and adjust the precision of the exported numbers.
  • Blocks: Contains settings for Block Displays, such as interpolation and solidify behavior. These adjustments are only visible when viewing the animation in-game.
  • Entities: Contains tracking options that force entities to look at specific targets during the animation.

Alternative Workflow

If you intend to animate the model through other means inside the game (such as using commands to rotate the entire structure), or if you just need a static decoration, the Model export type might be more useful for your project.
